Trevor Strydom has been in the landscaping industry for almost 4 years. He started his career as a landscaping site manager at Kingfisher Landscaping on 28 July 2006.

His role at Kingfisher Landscaping entails the implementation of gardens; the installation of irrigation systems; and the construction and installation of water features and Koi ponds.

FLEETWOOD POULTNEY

Fleetwood Poultney has been in the landscaping industry for almost 5 years. He started his career as a landscaping site manager at Kingfisher Landscaping on 1 September 2005. Within 2 years he had worked himself up to a management position, where he manages our team of landscaping site managers, the human resource department and the vehicle fleet.

His role at Kingfisher Landscaping also entails the implementation of gardens; the installation of irrigation systems; the construction and installation of water features and Koi ponds; and co-managing the staff, labour relations and payroll of Kingfisher Landscaping. Woody – as he is affectionately known – has proven himself as a trustworthy and hardworking individual. He has excellent communication skills and enjoys working with people – both his colleagues and our esteemed clients. He finds great pleasure in working outdoors in a creative and constructive environment and he is a perfectionist where his work is concerned. He is a true asset to Kingfisher Landscaping.

FRANS BADENHORST

Frans Badenhorst is a director of Badec Bros Landscaping (Pty) Ltd trading as Kingfisher Landscaping, as well as, a director of Badec Bros Wooden Decking. He manages the company’s quality management and in-house training. Frans has been in the landscaping industry for the over 13 years. He was also appointed as one of the directors of Kingfisher Irrigation cc. (Kingfisher Landscaping) in 1998 which has been built up to one of South Africa’s leading landscaping companies.

Frans holds a degree in Farm Management from Technicon Pretoria. His abilities and experience in Irrigation, Water Features and Koi Ponds have earned him a high reputation in the landscaping industry. He is a person with integrity, passion and a strong mind. If he puts his mind to something he won’t stop until he has achieved it. His goal is to build the company and lead the company into future tourism ventures.

LIESBETH BADENHORST

Liesbeth Badenhorst is a director of Badec Bros Landscaping (Pty) Ltd trading as Kingfisher Landscaping. She manages the company’s buying department and is in charge of quality and project management. Liesbeth has been in the landscaping industry for over 25 years. She started her career in landscaping at a commercial landscaping company, as a site manager. With all the experience she accumulated she founded Monitor Gardens in 1990. After 5 years she closed Monitor Gardens due to worker related issues. After 4 years’ experience in other landscaping companies she was appointed as one of the directors of Kingfisher Irrigation cc. (Kingfisher Landscaping) in 1999 which has been built up to one of South Africa’s leading landscaping companies. Her abilities and experience in project management, time management and people management have earned her a high reputation in the landscaping industry.

She is the passionate, positive and motivated mother figure of our company. With her management skills, our goals and vision are in our grasp. Her dream is to see the family business succeed by all means possible and to leave a legacy for all her grandchildren and generations to come.

Chris Lamprecht is a director of Badec Bros Landscaping (Pty) Ltd trading as Kingfisher Landscaping. He is our head designer and manages the company’s sales and design departments. He is also in charge of public relations, which means that he is the face of Kingfisher Landscaping. He represents our company at all the shows and also in television and magazine interviews.

Chris holds a diploma in Landscaping Technology from Pretoria Technicon and has 14 years of experience in the landscaping industry. He started his career in landscaping 14 years ago at a residential landscaping company as a site manager and landscaping designer. With all the experience he accumulated he founded Chris Lamprecht Landscape Architects in 1997. After 2 years the company was acquired by Kingfisher Irrigation cc trading as Kingfisher Landscaping.

He played a vital role in the development and growth of Kingfisher Landscaping. Not only did he manage to create a huge market in Johannesburg, but he always kept his landscape designs to international standards. His abilities and experience in designing have earned him a high reputation in the landscaping industry. He is a highly committed, positive and motivated person. He is also one of the most creative designers in the world and an outstanding sales agent. His main goal is to see Kingfisher Landscaping setting the trends in the industry by designing the world’s most creative gardens.

PERMALOC STEEL EDGING – ProLine™ Range

Permaloc steel edging is an exciting new product which we are importing form the United States of America. Our sister company, Badec Bros Deco has exclusive buyers’ rights with this company and is therefore the only supplier of this novel range of products in Southern Africa. Permaloc manufactures top quality aluminium landscape edging products, which were designed by landscape architects.

We utilize these trendy products as hardscape features to define flower beds and lawn areas. Because these products are all very easy to install, we are currently experiencing that it will take a 10′th of the labour and time to install, as opposed to other edging materials. Another positive aspect is that it can be moved easily, as garden beds are changed or moved. This range, sold exclusively by Badec Bros Deco in Southern Africa, comprises of commercial calibre aluminium and is employed to shape elegant curves and oblique lines in your garden design. ProLine is exceptionally flexible and is therefore ideal to use as a hardscaping feature in landscaping and garden design. One can use the product to define plant beds, enhance garden perimeters and even to construct a perfect circle to use around a tree bed.
