Frans Badenhorst is a director of Badec Bros Landscaping (Pty) Ltd trading as Kingfisher Landscaping, as well as, a director of Badec Bros Wooden Decking. He manages the company’s quality management and in-house training. Frans has been in the landscaping industry for the over 13 years. He was also appointed as one of the directors of Kingfisher Irrigation cc. (Kingfisher Landscaping) in 1998 which has been built up to one of South Africa’s leading landscaping companies.

Frans holds a degree in Farm Management from Technicon Pretoria. His abilities and experience in Irrigation, Water Features and Koi Ponds have earned him a high reputation in the landscaping industry. He is a person with integrity, passion and a strong mind. If he puts his mind to something he won’t stop until he has achieved it. His goal is to build the company and lead the company into future tourism ventures.

Liesbeth Badenhorst is a director of Badec Bros Landscaping (Pty) Ltd trading as Kingfisher Landscaping. She manages the company’s buying department and is in charge of quality and project management. Liesbeth has been in the landscaping industry for over 25 years. She started her career in landscaping at a commercial landscaping company, as a site manager. With all the experience she accumulated she founded Monitor Gardens in 1990. After 5 years she closed Monitor Gardens due to worker related issues. After 4 years’ experience in other landscaping companies she was appointed as one of the directors of Kingfisher Irrigation cc. (Kingfisher Landscaping) in 1999 which has been built up to one of South Africa’s leading landscaping companies. Her abilities and experience in project management, time management and people management have earned her a high reputation in the landscaping industry.

She is the passionate, positive and motivated mother figure of our company. With her management skills, our goals and vision are in our grasp. Her dream is to see the family business succeed by all means possible and to leave a legacy for all her grandchildren and generations to come.

Edrich Badenhorst is the CEO and CFO of Badec Bros (Pty) Ltd, which is the holding company for Badec Bros Landscaping (Pty) Ltd trading as Kingfisher Landscaping, Badec Bros Deco, Badec Bros Mosaic and Badec Bros Wooden Decking.  He manages the company’s financial, marketing and overall business planning and assists in sales and product development.

Edrich has been in the landscaping industry for the last 13 years. He was the founder of Kingfisher Irrigation cc. (Kingfisher Landscaping) in 1997 which has been built up to one of South Africa’s leading landscaping companies. His business experience started at a young age of 17 when he first opened the doors of Kingfisher Landscaping. Other companies also included an advertising company which was closed due to new business ventures. His abilities and experience in financial planning have earned him a high reputation in the landscaping industry. He is a highly motivated, passionate and positive person, who will do anything to reach the goals and dreams of the company. His biggest goal and dream in life is to make a real difference in the world and to leave a legacy for generations to come.

Chris Lamprecht is a director of Badec Bros Landscaping (Pty) Ltd trading as Kingfisher Landscaping.  He is our head designer and manages the company’s sales and design departments.  He is also in charge of public relations, which means that he is the face of Kingfisher Landscaping.  He represents our company at all the shows and also in television and magazine interviews.

Chris holds a diploma in Landscaping Technology from Pretoria Technicon and has 14 years of experience in the landscaping industry. He started his career in landscaping 14 years ago at a residential landscaping company as a site manager and landscaping designer.  With all the experience he accumulated he founded Chris Lamprecht Landscape Architects in 1997. After 2 years the company was acquired by Kingfisher Irrigation cc trading as Kingfisher Landscaping.

He played a vital role in the development and growth of Kingfisher Landscaping. Not only did he manage to create a huge market in Johannesburg, but he always kept his landscape designs to international standards. His abilities and experience in designing have earned him a high reputation in the landscaping industry.  He is a highly committed, positive and motivated person. He is also one of the most creative designers in the world and an outstanding sales agent. His main goal is to see Kingfisher Landscaping setting the trends in the industry by designing the world’s most creative gardens.

Kingfisher Landscaping was founded by Edrich (F.J) Badenhorst in 1997. The company was joined by Frans (F.H) Badenhorst in 1998. Liesbeth (M.E) Badenhorst and Chris Lamprecht joined in 1999. Since then the company has grown into one of South Africa’s leading landscaping companies. Up to date Kingfisher Landscaping has successfully completed numerous projects throughout South Africa and has also done several international projects. Throughout the years the company has enjoyed phenomenal growth and success. Kingfisher Landscaping changed the face of landscaping in South Africa by always creating trend setting styles and designs. After 10 years of rapid growth, Kingfisher Landscaping was ready to take the next big step and was sold to Badec Bros Landscaping (Pty) Ltd. Badec Bros Landscaping (Pty) Ltd was founded in 2006 by F.J Badenhorst, F.H Badenhorst, M.E Badenhorst and C Lamprecht. Since then the company has acquired Kingfisher Irrigation cc. T/a Kingfisher Landscaping; South Africa’s leading residential landscaping company with 10 years experience. With this acquisition Badec Bros Landscaping (Pty) Ltd acquired a large portion of the residential landscaping market.
