Kopieva (bulbine annua); geelkatstert (bulbine lagopus) and red root (bulbine natalensis) all have excellent natural anti-septic and soothing qualities.  The sap from the fleshy leaves of these succulents can be applied to scratches, burns, rashes, ringworm and insect bites and stings.
