Chris Lamprecht is a director of Badec Bros Landscaping (Pty) Ltd trading as Kingfisher Landscaping.  He is our head designer and manages the company’s sales and design departments.  He is also in charge of public relations, which means that he is the face of Kingfisher Landscaping.  He represents our company at all the shows and also in television and magazine interviews.

Chris holds a diploma in Landscaping Technology from Pretoria Technicon and has 14 years of experience in the landscaping industry. He started his career in landscaping 14 years ago at a residential landscaping company as a site manager and landscaping designer.  With all the experience he accumulated he founded Chris Lamprecht Landscape Architects in 1997. After 2 years the company was acquired by Kingfisher Irrigation cc trading as Kingfisher Landscaping.

He played a vital role in the development and growth of Kingfisher Landscaping. Not only did he manage to create a huge market in Johannesburg, but he always kept his landscape designs to international standards. His abilities and experience in designing have earned him a high reputation in the landscaping industry.  He is a highly committed, positive and motivated person. He is also one of the most creative designers in the world and an outstanding sales agent. Kingfisher Landscaping was founded by Edrich (F.J) Badenhorst in 1997. The company was joined by Frans (F.H) Badenhorst in 1998. Liesbeth (M.E) Badenhorst and Chris Lamprecht joined in 1999. Gabion plant cages are yet another range of exciting products, created by our sister company, Badec Bros Deco.

Our creative in-house décor company designs and manufactures trendy gabion plant cages from 30mm x 3mm angle iron, which is welded together to ensure a strong frame.  Then we weld strong, steel mesh onto the frame to create the shape of the plant cage. 

Once the hollow plant cage structure has been manufactured, we install it on site and plant it with a topiary plant, such as a brush cherry (syzigium paniculatum) or a creeper, such as a star jasmine.

We can powder coat your gabion plant cages, or we can finish them in a mild steel finish or a rusted finish.
